Grain markets traded both sides on Tuesday but closed slightly lower at sessions end. Futures were considered slightly overbought so a experiencing a little pull back today. Scattered showers in South America may be too late as production estimates will likely be reduced especially on corn, expect soybean production to be trimmed also. A new plan for Greece is in the works which could buy some time for them financially, long term could still be a problem. March Corn futures having trouble breaking through $6.45, however soybeans did manage to appraoch the $12.40 area today before closing at $12.32. November futures are at $12.40, maybe a good place to consider selling a few new crop soybeans.
Snow and some rain moved east of the Midwest region and across the middle Atlantic region Wednesday. This likely caused transportation and travel problems, especially in areas of moderate snow. Light rain occurred in southern Texas Wednesday. The key central U.S. crop areas elsewhere in the central U.S continued dry.
